New Addition – Kubota M7060HD 4×4 Loader Tractor At Pin Oaks Farm…

There is a new addition at Pin Oaks Farm, and no, it’s not a baby. πŸ˜‚ Lol.

The new addition at Pin Oaks Farm is a Kubota M7060HD 4×4 Loader Tractor. This tractor was much needed as the old Oliver tractor had laid down on us and wasn’t running anymore. Besides that, it wasn’t a loader tractor either, so we wasn’t able to do that much with it besides run the brush hog.

New Addition Kubota Tractor

This Kubota loader tractor is handier than a shirt pocket and couldn’t have arrived at a better time. Planting season is here and we are well underway on the sweet corn field right now.

new additionnew additionNow I’m pulling soil samples from this field shown above to see if there is anything it needs before planting the sweet corn 🌽.

The next field will be plowed and then run the disc over it for planting the pumpkins πŸŽƒ.

This new addition Kubota M7060 loader tractor has so many great uses and the power is incredible. Having a loader tractor on a farm is a must and allows for a great deal less back breaking work. This Kubota M7060 tractor is 71hp and very smooth…and with the automatic shuttle it makes for a nice and fun operating rig.

New Addition Uses:

The new addition Kubota M7060HD 4×4 Tractor does have a LA1154 front end loader on it that is easy to remove and also has the quick attach hookup for track loader attachments, such as backhoe, post hole digger, pallet forks, different type buckets, tree removal buckets and much more. Living off the grid and growing our own food and using firewood as our main source of heat, a loader tractor like this is a huge asset.

This loader tractor can also be used for…

  • Moving dirt
  • Running the brush cutter/mower
  • Moving “free shed” or buildings
  • Dragging trees out of the ditches for cutting into firewood
  • Reaching and removing broken branches
  • Building our new home
  • Hauling wood
  • Blading/maintaining the long driveway
  • Moving and spreading gravel
  • Moving large heavy rocks/boulders
  • Digging drainage ditches
  • Hauling fencing materials, post, etc
  • Digging post holes
  • Lifting large water tanks (off grid water hauling)
  • And much more…

Pin Oaks Farm was needing this new addition in the worst way and we feel very grateful and blessed to have it.

You may have seen in previous post where Rhonda got a free shed and we broke this new addition Kubota loader tractor in on moving this free shed. Without a loader tractor this would have been an impossible task, or at least without taking the free shed apart piece by piece.

Our new addition tractor is heavy enough to do the heavy grunt work needed here at Pin Oaks Farm, but yet it is not so big and heavy that it makes it hard to load and haul…

new additionnew additionSafety Comes First

At least for me, safety comes first! I love the newer equipment that has multiple safety features. Some hate these safety features, but not me. Sometimes they are a bit of a pain, but especially nice when you have little ones running around like we do. Our grandchildren are curious just like all young children, and these safety features are perfect for times like these…

Just like my Zero turn mower, this Kubota tractor dies if you get off the seat πŸ’Ί while it’s running. The Kubota M7060HD will not start unless is done so in the right order, with the right things engaged and brake applied in lock position. I love these features, because it makes it nearly impossible for anyone to start (especially little ones) unless they know the machines and how to start and operate.

Feel free to leave your comments below. We will keep you posted on our sweet corn 🌽 and pumpkin πŸŽƒ planting once it stops raining and dries out.

Always do your best,

Mike Pilcher
