Our New Home Location
Check out the pictures below and see what an amazing view we will have. From our full front porch (picture #1) we will be looking at our beautiful pond. Picture #4 you can see the dirt bank, which is what the back of garage will be up against. Like a earth contact home in many ways. The garage being in the dirt bank, will make it very safe for storms, especially with the all concrete storm shelter/safe room being in the garage next to the dirt bank.
Ready to form the foundation and to pour concrete once it drys up enough. As I write this post, it is pouring rain again…and has pretty much all day. This has been the story all year long.
This year has been a tough one for planting our crops, harvesting and trying to drill in winter wheat. Such a wet year.
We are so excited to get our new home location filled with a home, and not just flags like it has right now. Our fifth wheel is nice, but honestly, we are both ready for more room, family events, etc.
