Barn Tear Down – Barn Wood

Share This Post With A Friend

This barn tear down is a real project for sure. A barn that was built in the early 1900’s using real lumber and square nails.

Barn wood has become something that lots of people nowadays are using for accent walls, table, shelves and many other projects.

For us, this old barn has been a real blessing that is allowing us to use a great deal of this barn wood in our cabin. We are using this early 1900’s barn wood for walls, flooring and trim. Plus, we are saving a great deal for our new home once we start building it.

Barn Tear Down

As seen in the pictures, you will see how steep the roof is, and how large this old barn was. Once we have this old 1900’s barn tore down, it will be a happy day for sure. It will also leave us with a shed really full of old reclaimed barn wood to use and enjoy.

A great deal of the lumber will also be used in putting up an events and wedding barn here at Pin Oaks Farm.

Keep following us to see the progress in weeks and months to come. These projects take time, but are rewarding. We still have to work, so yes, our time is limited, like most everyone else’s is.

More updates coming soon…

Always do your best,

-Mike and Rhonda
