In the video below you will see exactly how To Set the laser on your Ridgid Miter Saw. This video will share two different ways to set the laser and each is easy to do. This isn’t true for most models.
How To Set the laser on your Ridgid Miter Saw
In the pictures below you can see my Ridgid Miter Saw and the set screw for the laser adjustment. You will also see the button to push for the red laser to come on while you adjust the set screw. This set screw takes an Allen wrench to adjust it.
Setting this laser is a bit touchy, but it really is easy. Take your time as it will be well worth the few minutes it takes to adjust and set this laser.
The red laser is a very handy gadget and I love it.
Unplug the Saw when doing this task! Some models will need to be plugged in to make the laser work, but this one does not.
