Today was another mowing day at Pin Oaks Farm. Even though we do this once per week, it almost needs to be twice a week right now. The grass is so thick and heavy and still growing very quickly right now.

It’s hard to believe that a little over a year ago we moved to this property and this view was totally different then.
The weeds and brush had taken over this property and where I’m standing while taking these pictures you wouldn’t have been able to see our fifth wheel (our RV).
Mowing Day
Our mowing day usually takes about 4-1/2 to 5 hours depending on how fast we run the 61″ cut Scag zero turn mower. The ground is still a little rough in places from the tracks of the tractor and brush cutter from last year. It also depends on how tall and heavy the grass is from the last mowing.
