This Is Where We Came From
This is where we came from. In the pictures below you will be able to see our beautiful 3000+ sq ft home that we sold and moved to our off grid property.
As mentioned in previous blog post, some of our family and friends thinks we are crazy for doing this. I say, try living in the country in total peace and quite before you judge! Try living without neighbors right next to you on both sides and then tell me what you think. Better yet, how about all of the stars that we see every single night out here in the country. You don’t see that in town living the yuppy life.
This is where we came from originally. Yes, we both grew up in the country to start with, so it isn’t our first rodeo. Honestly, there are many of our friends that couldn’t make it living the way we are. There is no way they could handle the work that goes along with this, nor could they handle the living without cable TV and wireless internet. Not to mention the gravel roads, the coyotes close howling close by every night and the complete darkness. No city lights here. Lol.
As you can see in these pictures there are lots of houses around and since our move they have built more houses right across the street from ours. Best move we’ve ever made! Yes this was a nice home and not much to take care of, however, there was absolutely NO PRIVACY there! Not the kind of life I care to live anymore.
What Was Our Why?
Our why is different than most people. We wanted more peace and quite, more privacy, our own land where we could build a custom home to our liking, a place where there wasn’t all of the rules and restrictions on what you can and can’t do, and total freedom. See more here <<.
Everyone has there own thing. Some people don’t mind living like a caged animal, while others want to live away from all that mess and have more freedom to do as they please (like us).
